The Departure by Pearl Adril
The conversation between the tree and its leaves had been unspoken,
And yet, a great outburst of melancholy washed over them both.
The leaves swam gently across the harsh tides of the ocean,
And as the leaves set forth, it noticed,
That the Weeping Willow appeared more sorrowful than before.
The feeling of sadness and misery seemed evermore.
Author Bio: Pearl is a 15 year old emerging writer, who wants to build a career in publishing. As a young child, she was fascinated with not only books and authors but also the process of getting a piece published. She fell in love with books at a young age and has since dreamed of working in the publishing industry. Today, she’s pursuing that dream by becoming a published writer and an editor. Pearl is a student currently residing in Kuwait.
